Get involved!

The Fair will have a variety of free resources for families with children, including food, books, clothing, health screenings, and housing and social services. Free bento lunches will be available to the first 500 attendees. Also, bring up to 3 objects from home and 3 soil samples for free lead testing. Even a little lead in a child’s blood can hurt their ability to learn, pay attention, and do well in school. Click here for suggested items and more information.

Enjoy free activities for the whole family, including inflatable and tabletop games, face painting, temporary tattoos, yoga led by Project Koa Yoga, and soccer activities from Keiki Kicks.

At the main stage, join us for a kids’ dance and movement activity led by Miss Hawaiʻi Lauren Teruya, music by DJ My Friend George, and a reading of children’s books by respected drag artists Candi Shell and Tara Way, who have previously brought their family-friendly entertainment to a wide range of community events, from church groups to graduation parties.

Free parking will be available at Beretania District Park, American Savings Bank, and The Kukui Center (245 N. Kukui St.). Metered parking is available in the surrounding area.

To ensure public safety, both the Honolulu Police Department and American Savings Bank security will be present at the event.

Mahalo to our resource and service partners: Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, AlohaCare, American Savings Bank, Aloha Harvest, Department of Education, Domestic Violence Action Center, Hawaiʻi Foodbank, Hawaiʻi Literacy, Honolulu Police Department, Institute for Human Services, Kids Hurt Too, Legal Aid / Hawaiʻi Immigrant Justice Center, Pacific Gateway Center, PACT, Piko Provisions, Project Vision, Shriners Children's Hawaii, Trust for Public Land, and University of Hawaii Cancer Center.
