Looking for ways to give back this holiday season? Check out the opportunities below:
Lead a Gift Card Drive – Help the families enrolled in our shelter and diversion programs by donating a gift card. A gift card of $30 gives a family the chance to go shopping, get something to eat, or grab a meal. Gift cards to Walmart, gas stations, Longs, Safeway, Times, Zippy’s, or Ross are always popular!
Organize a Supply Drive – Help keep our Family Day Centers stocked with resources for families. We always need laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, and cleaning supplies. Check out our entire wish list needs below.
Give the Gift of a Home – Donate to help families escape homelessness and move into a home of their own.
Take Action – Give the gift of your time this holiday season
We are in need of volunteers the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s to help with the following:
Slumber Party! – Provide overnight coverage at one of our partner shelter sites. Great for couples, friends, or individuals.
Prepare a Meal – Create a nutritious meal and drop it off at one of our partner shelter sites.
Contact [email protected] if you are interested in giving your time or have questions about organizing a donation drive.
